East Brooklyn DEIJ Supplier Diversity Distributor Fellowship

“DEIJ (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion + Justice) Supplier Diversity Distributor Fellowship is designed to ensure residents build supplier diversity capabilities to equitably participate in supply chain solutions within infrastructure, commercial development, retail, and e-commerce. Specifically, these areas include:

  • Clean Energy
  • Roads
  • Airports
  • Ports
  • Railways
  • Utilities
  • Education
  • Healthcare
  • Housing
  • Technology
  • Social Impact

Extensive infrastructure and commercial development projects are incentivized within disadvantaged communities across the nation through tax benefits, new zoning provisions, and government funding provided to large non-local enterprises. Residents/small business owners within these areas need their "equitable seat" at the economic table.

We remove barriers for residents to access socially conscious manufacturers to train residents in business development and market analysis to become authorized distributors, top industry manufacturers.

Our fellowship program is a multifaceted 9-month hybrid (in-person/virtual) training experience where we create immediate economic benefits for our fellows and our public-private investment partners.
